My old shop teacher use to tell me all of the time, "you know when you shake a masonss' hand". It dried out my hands so bad that they were bleeding. Props to you masons.

I was always interested in the Freemasons. How do you become a member? What sort of group are the mason's as far as activities or meetings and such?

Your dad is a Mason not a freemason.

Where abouts in ohio are you at. You need to be brought through with a current mason. Contact you local chapter and I am sure they will be able to help you with that .

It's a group of people, a club like thing similar to the American Legion, the Elks and those types of things.

It is actually nothing like that other than being a club with members. google Freemason and do some research. Many things that have to do with the freemasons are not talked about publicly, only with other masons. i will leave it at that. No blacks or women are allowed. You must be a "freeborn" white male. No it isn't a racist thing either. Freemasons go back hundreds of years.

AskaMason.com I believe would be a good start.Like Tim said the Internet can answer alot of questions about it.Just dont beleive some of the crap people say,They couldn't possibly understand Freemasonary unless they were a member.
