Right now, all i have is a DMC Alien system/air filter/jetting. Hopefully over the winter, i want to make her a killer bike. Whats the cheapest way to give her a killer top end kick, (kinda like the 450's, maybe not as much) without sacrificing too much low end/mid range. I was thinking hotcams stage 2/cdi rev box/and a timing key. What else, or what other setup will do what i want it to do?

416 piston - stage 2 cam - hd timing chain

and a port and polish job if the funds are there

x2 but no 416.. stick with stock bore but get 11-12:1 piston

yea, to keep it reasonably cheap i would go with

416 bore
aftermarket cdi,
450r carb (06 or newer)
11:1 piston
stage 2 hotcam,
hd cam chain,
and a port & polish,

then maybe go up 1 tooth on the front,

that will be a good set-up that can run on 93 octane...

yeah i'd only do the big bore if it needs to be bored out.
