ok i was just thinking how the 250, 300 and 400ex would be better if it had liquid cooling. ok so since everyone buys air scoops and stuff to cool the motor, how about this: make a pinwheel out of sturdy metal, put it somewhere in front of the motor and then go ride. technically the faster you go, the faster it will spin creating more and i think cooler air coming to the motor. it would be basically like a fan with no electricity going to it.if it actually worked it would prolly be much lighter than a liquid cooling system and more efficient than air scoops

what do you guys think? would it be able to work?

good concept but in my opinion the main problem wit heat is at low speeds. ive already thought of alota of this as in piggybacking 2 stock oil coolers together or buyin the fst cooler. also the older 600 grizzly 4x4 electrical coolin fan is like 3 or 4 inches in diameter and would make a great weight saving accesory. maybe if all of us put our ideas together we can make an award winning contraption :D  :devil yeah i know make fun of the dude wit the ideas everyone!! and u know who u are.!! but yeah man good idea,.

think about it, that wont work

if you are going fast than is already alot of air goin to your motor, the fan will not make more, it just take whats already there and move it. actually it will make less, it will just be an obstruction in the way.

Should buy a big ***** computer fan, and put it on the front of the bike with a switch!!

I've been knocking the idea around with my sportbike mechanic about using an electric fan from a liquid cooled sportbike, and mounting it to a slightly larger oil cooler (replacing the stock cooler).

3" cooling fan from radioshack $15.00. I have had it on my quad for about 6 months. Dust, rain, washing, mud, and still running strong.

the computer fan with the stock cooler is a good idea. I think I'm going to try it.

this is a tad expensive, but if i still had a 440, i would...

bigger oil cooler, either 2 stockers or a giant one
a pingry oil tank
slightly rich jetting
colder spark plug
scoops

that should really cool her down
