View Full Version : ex300 suspension upgrade
what is an economical why to upgrade the suspension I under stand a 660 raptor rear shock will fit and is an inprovement, what are the options on the front, are wider front arms worth the cost for hare scrambles. We may upgrade the 300 but are waiting to see if someone builds a 250 race quad. thanks bill

250r/400ex front end is about the cheapest route but you'll need an upper shock mount relocator bracket to make it work. Or you could pick up a used set of aftermarket arms for the 300. The 01 raptor shock will work(remote ressie) and the newer style raptor(piggyback ressie) shock will work with minor modification to the frame.(tube leading to airbox)
It looks like it will be a while before any of the manufacturers will go out on a limb and build a 250 class race ready quad so right now modding the old 300's are about the only choice.:ermm:

^ yes, that is your cheapest solution,, and yes it will make a noticable difference in the stabality and the overall ride of the bike..
i recomend the 400 front end, and the raptor rear shock,, i have tested both and they work great
hey if your interested i have a raptor rear shock that needs rebuilt that i will let go cheap..
