He won it for $180. Its all mounted up. I can get some pics and stuff but I asked how it was and he basically just told me like any other stabilizer. Dont know what he measn by that, but says it was worth it. Its a nice peice and has the basic hard to soft adjustment. From what Ive seen/experinced, there isnt a huge difference in stick and puck styles, but most every stick one I see gets bent or ends up leaking, and dont offer the adjustability.

there is a huge difference between a stick stabilizer and a gyroscopic stabilizer like a precision and W.E.R. ive owned all of them and sticks are for girls

Girls, or people who cant afford a $500 stabilizer.

let us know how it works. Ive already wasted money on a stick type and im not happy with it. I dont want to waste more on this as a trial. So i will wait for someone else to try one and leave a review on it.

still no good reviews on this. Im sure somebody has to have some good feedback. I tried to ask the seller if he would let me borrow one to do a review on but never got a response. Oh well his loss in business imo.

Apparently, these things must suck. Because, no one wants to post a review.

you dirty bast**ds.

I ended up buying a used WER.

My friend Logan who bought one, has 3 XC races (one GNCC) on his and its still holding up great. I rode with his 450 and its pretty sweet. I hopped right on it and it was adjusted just on the firm side and it was perfect for me. I got up to the top of 4th on a rocky, rutted up straight then I stood up and let go of the bars and it just kept going straight. It would be suicide without one. I didnt notice any added effort to steer it either. They are now $145 shipped. Personally I like it more than my WER, but im due for a rebuild. Right now if the guy would id trade mine for one of his. Im not seeing them any more on ebay.

would you happen to know what types of adjustments are on it?

yea i need 1 now i wonder if he has different sized clamps for my walsh stem

11-01-2007, 08:17 AM
can these even be purchased now?

Jake250ex

Its just the basic hard/soft dampening adjustments. Like me WER.

Check if your stem is the same diameter. If not, contact him and I bet he will custom make one for ya. I have his user name if anyone needs to contace him, but I dont see them on ebay any more.
