Whoa what did you buy for 500 bucks?

Also, how did you get the plastic to reflect light when you colored over the plastic with photoshop?

I got Factory Honda replacement plastics-200

Side panels-70 (35 each)

Steering stem-50

Handlebars-60

Seat-65

grips-10

Crossbar pad-15

And all i do is use the magnetic lasso tool, outline what i want, if im doing multiple objects then i hold down the SHIFT key. After that, i go to Image >Adjustments >Saturation/Hue and get the color i desire from there....you have to play with the lightness, saturation and the hue to get it just right.

Hope i helped some. :)

nice photoshop work.. stuff like that is so time consuming.. if you need any help with photoshop.. search for "photoshop tutorials" there are lots out there and they are great.. I learned how to chop and drop a car a while back.. PS is alot of fun if you know how to use it.. :D

here's some stuff I have done.. I have no clue what colours to go with so I did some photoshopping to help me out.. dont know if i want the black motor or I might make the motor the same colour as the frame with chrome accent.. theses are just a few I have done for now..

here's a little tip.. desaturate before you colour.. that helps me sometimes.. also its all in the adjustments of hue's, saturations and light..

you should have seen my first few colour changes.. they looked horrible.. lol.. i mean horrible..

it takes time to get used to photoshop.. but once you learn.. its well worth it.

No doubt. Do you use the "magnettic lasso" tool to outline all your stuff?

you're doing a great job.. all you have to do is clean up the edges a bit..

what is your method of colouring? do you use layers, hue and saturation?

nope.. i use regular lasso then I erase what i dont need.. mangentic lasso is ok.. but wont be as clean as if you did the erasing yourself..

btw if it wasnt for a little of the edges, the smudge on the nose, and a little of the reflection.. it colour looks great on your photoshopping..

how about trying this.. it time consuming but it works great..

use regular lasso.. take more then what you care gona use.. now copy and paste that section to make a new layer out of it.. now you can erase what you dont use from the layer that you are gona colour..

then desaturate.. then do what you regularly do and you should be good to go..
