WEll, It all depends on several things, but what I can tell you is, that they are hard to get action shots with, they have a delay when you touch the button to shoot, you may miss the shot, i went back and sked the guy about the camera, and he said they are all like that, even the spendy ones, but it sure is nice to have ,no more waste of film on a bad pic,I bought a Sony Cybershot 3.2 megapixels, I paid 399.00 for it i think, and you ahould alos but a bigger memory vard, cause the one it comes with dont hold squat. you will pay around 40-50.00 for a better memory card.. Hope this helps you...:)

Well, the delay is like a sec or so,its hard to explain, but I just try to anticipate the action shot before it happens,I am real new to my camera,so Im still learning, I will post a few pics for ya, but they are seyt at one of the olwest resolutions,so I am able to fir more pics in my camera,my memroy stick will hold up to around 170jpeg size pics, and thats what i post so the image can be made a lot better im sure..heres one of my pics of my Daughter..

400ex127 that angle makes a HUGE difference. I took a photo class last year because it was mandatory and this professional photographer taught and he was a dad of this girl in my class so it was like one of those mandatory things. Well he was pretty nice but it wasnt with a digital camera so i used my dads and for action pictures i would put it on .250 of a second or .1000 of a second and i had a very very small delay than when i use my dads digital it feels like it is a 3 second delay. I guess it is just different between a digital and non-digital. I will be continuing this class again this year and hopefully next year. that way i could learn some stuff about cameras and stuff. Sorry im just bored.

I have a Sony DSC-S85. Excellent camera, does everything - even shoots mpeg videos. Never had a problem with it other than I noticed it's $200 cheaper now than when I got it a little over a year ago. I have never used film since. Sony has been really good to me so I would highly recommend that namebrand to anyone.

It's really easy to shoot mpeg video - turn the dial to movie icon, push the button to start shooting and push it again to stop. It doesn't get any easier than that! You can get fancy and adjust the quality/size and use some special effects if you want. The video at medium quality is actually pretty decent yet small file size. I think that 10sec of vid was about 150k. I'll have to shoot some quad clips and post it here. I put a 120meg card in the camera so it will hold something like 6 minutes of the highest quality video or 90 minutes of the low quality. When I go to the next EX ride at Hatfield I'll bring it for sure.

You didn't miss anything - I'm the one who missed it, the next HM ride will be my first. I was planning on going to the last one but my car was in the shop so I had no way of getting there. The rental I had didn't have a hitch - what a Bit@H!
