Valve adjustment HelP

Hi, how tight should the fiuller gaudge be when adjusting the valves????

.004 intake
.005 exhaust And done while the engine is cold.

But how tight should the fiuller gaudge be??? very tight fit or should it slip in and out easy????

Help appreciated

The feeler gauge should go in easily, but you should feel a little bit of drag on it when sliding in in an out

yea, you just want a little bit of resistance against the feeler guage

just like he said. the way i set them is if the setting is .004inches i adjust it to get the feel of it then i try to stick a .005 feeler gauge in it, if it goes in then it's too loose so i tighten it just a hair until the .005 gauge does not go in.

^^^ that was an example for the intake valves i do the same with the exhaust settings.
