300ex heatshield,
300ex throttle cover,
300ex brake fluid thingy,
renthal crossbar and mounts.
As you can tell i am about to start polishing some things.

all except the stainless heatshield are aluminum or aluminum alloy i believe:p

I just polished my throttle cover and brake fluid cover and they are alumunium...but i had some troulbe with the brake cover....i just used my dremel on it and it looks pimp.

no but it will oxidize.....you will have to keep it polished or after polishing.......spray some clear on it .;)

after i polish it and clear it wouldnt the clear just come right off. KP

to polish those parts i would imagine it would be like $40

The clear coat is spray paint. Put on 2-3 coats. Let each coat have enough time to dry. Then put on another coat. If you let each coat dry long enough then it shouldn;t come right off. It will last a while.

what would the hatsheild look like po,ished anyone got pics? just wondering because i want to do it. Will it look decent even though its not aluminum?

haha...i only polish that which needs it...if it aint polished when i buy it then it gets powdercoated...lol

i have several peopel locally that want me to start polishing....but it is close to $500 for the set up i would need and basic supplys. maybe soon.

chris waters just replies to a thread and included a good bit of info.....check it out:D
