idle help

Assuming my jetting is correct, which I think it is...if my idle is a little high...is there any good method to change it. Im not sure how low is too low.

Any advice on proper adjustment.

Just turn the idle screw the i think left but if that just makes it higher turn it the other way and the idle should go down. In the Picture it the arrow in the top right corner.

the book says 1,400rpm +or- 100 rpm i think. yeah that's ok if you have a tachometer to hook up and check it.

but since i don't have one i let it warm up (i usually idle it up till it gets warm) then i'll idle it down to where it almost wants to quit then i idle it back up where it idles smooth and doesn't sound like it wants to quit.
