150 guy? Hmmm........... not sure I understand ya there.

As for domain buying and selling, yes its worth it. The key to get started is not registering domain names nobody is going to want to buy off of you.

For starters, check out www.namenewbie.com and read it 5 times. Then go to www.namepros.com forum for domainers. I've learned everything I know there, great place. I'm hasrob there :)

Neither of those websites are mine FTR.

That is fantastic! Kudos to you. Sounds like you have a great work ethic.

I work for Ford Motor Company, Kansas City Assembly Plant--SUV (Escape) line. (We also build the F-150 at KCAP.) I work on cars in the paint shop after they come out of the oven (yeah, they're hot) looking for blemishes and repairing any defects I may find.

It was only 105 degrees at my job station last night, though the temp dropped to a cool 95 by the time I left after ten hours. I can't believe they pay me to have all that fun.

I'm 35 years old and have had only two jobs and I started the last day of my junior year. I started out at the local Chevy dealership at the parts counter. Took alot of tests while I was there and became a Chevrolet Certified Tech. About two and a half years later I started with a new factory here in town that supplies Toyota, Nissan and Subaru. Been here for over 15 years and have been in charge of shipping, recieving, service parts, packaging and forklift training. The forklift training is fun and scary. Some people just dont realize that "little towmotor" that thier own will remodel a building in no time at all. I'm ready for something else now, gotta get out of this factory BS. Japanese owned factory by the way.

I sell women's shoes...

It's great... 10% commission.

Each pair of shoes is probably averages around 80 bucks... Yesterday, I sold just shy of 3,000 in shoes... on a Tuesday.......

Not to mention, its located in the most expensive mall in the country. Gwen Stafani regularly comes in... I have helped several of the girls from the Laguna Beach tv show... Last week I helped the lead singer of Linkin Park for his daughter or something... He was cool.

Also, last week I helped a hooker while her pimp and his body guard just awaited on the couches in my department. It was an awkward situation, but they ended up spending $1300. (In cash of course.)

Fun times... fun times.

Oh and I forgot to mention I'm taking 18 units this semester in 3 days... I'm working the other 4. So 32 hours a week of work and 18 units... I'm going to have NO life this year.

I do real estate appraisal for the land aquistion department of INDOT. I basically say what kind of money the state will pay you when they take your land to build roads and bridges and stuff. Most people are pissed at first till they find out they get paid pretty good for a lil piece of land. I dont make much money, but i get great government benefits and paid training and like 35 paid days off a year.

I still do real estate appraisals, mow grass, trash-out foreclosed houses, minor remodeling and maintainence on or rentals and storage sheds on the side.

I'm pretty sure he meant he sold just shy of $3000 in shoes. Aka.. $300 commission.

I started out just getting my real estate appraisers license from the state and training under someone with experience. I started with mostly home appraisal for mortgages and building loans and farms. I did that for about three years then I decided to find a niche that could make me some more money and hopefully open up some doors. I heard that the dept of transportation was hiring and would train you and may for all required continuing education which i was about to need. I called around and talked to one of the appraisers for the state and they told where to apply and who to contact about making sure my application got a good look. I interviewed and 5 months ago i started and they give me full benefits already, they paid for holidays right away, they paid for a $700 six day class and paid me for the time i was at class. I do basically the same as mortgage work, then I use some studies and formula to find the damage the aquistition does to the property and then when i write my report i give it to a buyer who negotiates with the home owner.

Thats my part, but there are also several people who do the Buying/negotiating, then theres people who relocate people when we need to tear there house down. There are people who just go out and determine what needs to be bought for the right of way.

The department of transportation is the best place to start looking into it, but there are also similar positions in the dept of natural resources that buy right of way for lake and creek access. That is where i am hoping to go in a couple years, or I know that the state contract alot of the same work and pays really well, but you have to pay your own retirement and health care.

I hope this helps you in considering this type of job.

I am 27 and enjoy what I do and figure I got a job that probably wont dissappear.

Another job that won't disappear is the water treatment industry.

A few licenses and you can be working as a Water Treatment Operator. Excellent money to be made . Basically you help to run Water plants or wastewater plants and make sure that the water being pumped out is clean and ready to drink.

Well glad to see you finally cleaned up your act. Keep it up:macho

I work at a Nursing home washing dishes and sometimes serving food. In the winter I also work at a X mas tree farm selling, wrapping, and trimming trees.

Im trying to find a new job right now, ive been working at the nursing home for a little over a year. Before that I worked at a Ski Slope in the rental department, untill I got black mailed and fired. I might be getting a job for the local welding place.

love it.. i walk to work(no money spent on gas) and what other job will send me about the nation world from the middle of the USofA.. (having just got back from Las Vegas..

I work at a landscape/lawn care job after school, tend to a farm everyday, I hang and finish drywall or roof a house any chance I get, and I just applied for the almighty job at Sears. I don't landscape everyday.. so the only reason I applied at Sears is because I need some point of steady income. After I graduate, I plan to take Energy Systems class at the Community College then hop on at DP&L in Aberdeen, Ohio.

Dropping out of school didn't hurt me as much as having a criminal record (4 felionies and a bunch of misdemeanors). First, i was over 21 years old and knew nothing about working, about tools, or anything. So nobody wanted to give me a job, and i mean nobody! Second, my licence is suspended until 2012. So getting a job out of walking range seemed impossible. i ended up getting a job that is an hour away in Pittsburgh so i had to drive.
Luckily the Police in my area know what im doing with my life now and don't bother with me about driving on a suspended licence. They just don't like me driving my Quad on the road now! But thats a long way from selling crack & heroin to your own community. Id rather struggle every day of my life until its my time then to ever go back to that lifestyle. Thank God, my youngest son will never have to see any of that.

I'm 17 and work as a Honda Technician (If that's what you want to call it). I work alongside an older tech and basically get trained on how to repair the Honda cars. Soon I will have to take a bunch of tests and take a course for an inspection/emission license this year.
