Rear Shock Revalving

I might be purchasing an 05' 450R, but the rear shock was revalved and re-springed set up for a rider 260lbs. I was wondering if anyone one knew to what weight the stock shock comes set up for. Also, if it is worth getting revalved to my weight, about 160lbs or just getting a stock one. Do the 400EX rear shock fit on the 450's?

your probably going to want to get the thing re-valved, only beouse thats like a 100lbs difference. and yes a 400ex shock will bolt on, but wont handle good at all, bad idea to put one on

The 400ex rear shock is to long for the 05 450r. I would get the shock you have revalved for you. They are a good shock and can perform well when setup correctly
