My buddy had a 250r and a 400ex so he checked the dimensions and they were different....

I know that 250r and 400ex fit 300ex so i would think that you could mix and match all three were you would need them.

I heard they will fit but you have to make some sorta of spacers.

i am pretty sure its not a perfect fit, but it can be done...i dont know any details though

no they should eb a perfect fit becasue 400ex and 250r a arms are a perfect fit on a 300 and 300ex a rams iv heard are -1 a arms on a 400ex and fit perfectly so i think the base of the a arm is the seme width on all 3 and the 250r and 400ex are also the same length but might look a lil bit diferent.

No they are not a perfect fit.

The 250r has wider mounting brackets I would say buy 1.5 cm or 1/2 of and inch.

I had 250r roll design a arms that i ground down to fit my 400ex.. If your running 400ex a arms on your R you will need to use some spacer's But they will work beutifully. Mine have. Putting ex arms on The 250r is alot easier then R arms on the ex. Im not sure about the 300ex width but i would imagine its the same as the 250r. ALso if anyone starts to disagree remember IM talking about after market a arms because stock a arms have large bushings and I'm not sure If stock 250r arms would fit on a ex with out the bushing's or not. Im just talking about after markets. If you don't quite understand what im trying to say PM me. I'll get some pictures if you really need them this weekend at my cottage. Cause my buddys R is up there:confused:

I've gone over this a million times and people don't seem to believe me. Im not sure what arms fit what cause i don't now how they are built and what type of spacers they use but im positive that 250r a arm mounts on the frame are wider then ex

Will 400ex front shocks fit ona 250r?

forum

yes the shocks are the same. the stock shocks are a little different in legnth by mybe a 1/2 inch but they will still fit each other. after market shocks are exactly the same other then their valving/springrate because a 400ex is heavier then the R
