Any body into the older style cars?

here's mine, 79 malibu,
Still plenty of stuff yet to do,

Motor:
289 bored .060 over
Edelbrock Cam and Performer RPM Intake
Demon 525 Carb
Pertronix Electronic Distributor
MSD wires
Ported 302 heads
Comp Cam valve springs, pushrods and lifters
Moroso 7qt. oil pan with windage tray
Hooker longtube headers
Roller rockers

Drivetrain: C4 w/ shift kit and a Ford 8 in. with an Auburn lockin diff. and 3.55 gears

Suspension: Street Bandit Performance springs, swaybars(front and rear), KYB gas-a-just shocks. 2in. drop in front and 1in. drop in rear.

i also have a fullset of autometer gages and all of the bezels and switches for the dash which aren't installed because i am putting a wiring harnes in the car

Thanks! I got it back in 1998 and am the 2nd owner, which is pretty cool because I was able to get almost all of the original paperwork and documentation with it.

it was a few years ago. I know someone put it on ebay, and i think a guy in michigan owns it now. i miss that thing:(

I had a 69 427 4 speed car and it had a dealer replacement engine,it was the correct date and the correct casting #s .. When I went to sell the car, Corvette dorks treated it like it was a VW converted into a Corvette and had a hard time selling it...

So if you say it is a matching # car everything must be matching !

Other than that I like your car !

My grandpa has a 1965 Ford Fairlane. All original, I believe even the tires are original. I'll have to get some pics of it sometime.

As a Corvette lover I agree with you on the overzealous NCRS nut jobs. That's why we decided to make a resto rod out of this 63'.

Everything is correct. This has been gone over with a fine tooth comb by quite a few Vette 'nuts' and the only part that was not matching was the spring on the carb which has since been replaced. The car was featured in the Feb 07 issue of Hemmings Muscle Machines.
