Does this bug anyone else...Jumping and having your rear fenders flob around like wings? Anyone ever made any brackets. My room-mate is a welder so i might bring my quad to his shop and see if we can fabricate something up. It looks rediculous when you are riding/jumping plus it's just plain old annoying. Anyone else have a solution for this or built something? I love my 400ex but this has to stop.

my plastics cracked in the area where the metal pieces fit into the plastic on the rear fenders

They should of came with brackets. Stock they come with brackets on it. After market comes with the hardware needed. But you have to drill the holes. I prefer mine without a bracket however, mainly because when I had the bracket on my stock fenders it started to crack where the bracket met the fenders.

I have maier rears. I guess i'll just have to bend some aluminum or something to hold them in place. The original brace doesn't work with maier rears.

if your into racing and your always leaning over in the corners just leave it without brackets. i broke so many on my 450 that i just gave up and now they just flap

would it work to cut out the plastic where the number plates go just to save some weight? just a dumb idea i came up with quick. Yeah next year will be my first year racing. I'm just practicing up this year so i can maybe be some competition. I don't want to shave down the sides but im going to have to think of something I think.
