Need some advice on jetting my pred 500???

My '04 pred 500 is bogging pretty bad in low to mid range rpm. (running rich too). Runs good WOT. Is Jetting most likely the issue? This bike has been jetted, not sure if was done right or not. I have an aftermarket exhaust and K&N filter. I'm at around 2000-2500ft. If anybody has some advice that could get me started with a range of jet sizes to start with, that's be great:p

I have a 170 main jet, should i go to a 175 or down to a 165. Or is this the right size when having aftermarket exhaust. Again, its running rich, bogging @ 2000-2500ft. If anyone has any suggestions for this rookie, please pass them on. Thanks.
