i put a filter and a pipe on it....it would not run unless i close the choke part way so i knew i had to rejet. i have a jet drill kit. the smallest drill in my kit is a #52 which is bigger that the main jet that is in the carb (not by much) so i drilled it out. now it wont run at hi rpms (getting to much fuel) but my question is the stock jet is a #58 (i found out after drilling). is there a metic and standard to jetting and that is why my #52 was bigger that the #58....

and yes i am positve it is a #52 drill........unless the whole drill kit came miss marked from the factory

well if the stock jet is a 58, then go by the OEM brand 60 and 62 jets.
