Computer help

I was wondering if someone on here can help me out, when I get on the internet some pages say that they cannot be displayed, pictures are red x's... I just had comcast leave here and he told me it was fine, so I went ahead and changed my ip adress's and everything.. set up another network for connections and I still have the same problem everytime. Anyone have a clue what's wrong? I was thinking it's internet explorer but I can't even load a page to download firefox.. :grr: :scary:

maybe a problem with the sites server? I get that sometimes also and my laptop is just fine, so is my internet connection

I was thinking the same thing so I asked some of my friends to try and load the same sites and everything load's fine for them. If I go on myspace everyones pictures are red X's.. I couldn't even get onto this site for the longest time, this is starting to suck a little bit :o
