really isnt much of a power difference between the 2 years, but why not a WR450 kit. It will bring the displacement to 450cc and from what I have read will put out a little more power than the 06 motor. Or just slap on a big bore.

Is it possible to put the '06 head on the '05 head? As far as I know the biggest difference is the intake design which helps with the smooth power.

Yes it helps...I would suggest getting a 10 or 12 ounce though

the wr pulls much harder than stock. Have you done the cam mod?
