View Full Version : 06 carb on 04?

has anyone ever installed a 06 450r carb on an 04? is it easy? any modifications need to be done? worth the time and money? im looking for a little more throttle response, i dont want to spend a ton of money on a aftermarket carb or mess around trying to make things work with a crf450 carb.

its not any different putting an 06 trx and or a crf carb on. i will need a noss adaptor and to change over the tps connection.

You can get a crf carb cheaper then a 06-08 trx one. and you dont need a noss adapter if you use an 06 trx air box and filter.

I loved it with the built motor! You can tell the difference, I had the 06 air box and filter on it also.
