Roll Call,

Wondering who from the site will be out to the park for some great riding and camping???

We have a cookout planned for Sunday. Saturday night we will light up the kids track and have kids bike and quad racing (quads up to 300cc only)

We will also have a nighttime mudbog race for quads! Great riding all weekend.

Sounds like were gonna have a good crowd. Sorry for anyone who can't make it out, were sure to have a good time.

Pappy, it sounds like Cody's gonna get the iron man award racing all three rides - thats impressive.

Looking forward to seeing all the riders that can make it out. I'll be working on grooming the tracks and hopefully making some new jumps and changes. I'm running out of ideas - I like the tracks so much the way they are now. But change is what makes this place so great, so you can expect something different somewhere?????

Ill be there,

dan, do you know where the whoop section section is, right next to the 45ft table on the Intemedite/rythem track, right after that new double you replaced for the double double section.

In exchange for the whoops, I think it would be pretty sweet if you could put in two roller doubles, maybe 20 - 30 feet a piece.

Just a thaught,

mike

There is plenty of doubles on the track. That would take out the only whoop section.

I think your both right, Nobody really rides the whoops, yet we do have enough doubles and thats the only set of whoops.

....I would like to add a set of 10 commandments (5 small doubles in a row). But its not going to be where the whoops are, I like having whoops here and they are in a good spot, besides they are a pain to build and thats the best set I've built yet.

Not sure where I'd put the commandments??? ...Actually I do have some good ideas for them that would make a major change. You'll have to wait and see. Right now my loader is down again needing almost $10 grand in repairs - so it may take a couple weeks.

gbcap
08-13-2007, 08:56 AM
ouch!! our loader needs 14k in replacement bushings in the front bucket...i know fixing those things gets costly REALLY quickly.

i LOVE the whoops. us xc guys can just blaze right thru them cause that is basically our whole trail in the woods. :p

Its deff a hard pack track. Not a lot of rocks at all. The 2 tracks are different, one is more technical and the other is higher speed bigger jumps. Both are open to DB's.

Josh I know how you feel, I have only riddin 3 times this year. 2 Nationals and 1 local practice.

hondaracer31
08-14-2007, 08:18 PM
It's not all that hard packed anymore. He's got a new tractor and a chisel plow and disks to rip it up now. It starts out pretty loamy, at least.

mine
08-15-2007, 09:03 PM
Once he disks up the track, the soil is soo damn sexy, especially for us bikers. Last time I was there we actually had alot of bike ruts entering the berms, before jumps and alot after the jumps. It wont be too fun for beginners, but is deffinetly "different" for the local bpg riders. U know we'll be up there dan, Not too mention the new trail is SICK. see you guys soon.

well if things work out me and tony mastrocola might head down. Do they usually get a big bike turn out? I like quads and all, but having 20 of them on one track with like 2 bikes just flat out sucks haha. Does he disc or water the track regularly? Btw, home much is it to go there.

Dirt Soldiers?? How can you put that track in the same category as the other two tracks? Everytime i go to D Soldiers i say it will be my last because it hasnt been prepped since 2006! I think you will like the bike turnout at BPG, i was there a couple weeks ago, and there was more bikes than quads.
Also does anyone know if Dan changed some jumps? He said last month he was going to before this weekend, just curious what he was up to!

hondaracer31
08-28-2007, 10:55 AM
I was there last weekend and all the jumps were the same. His big loader is broke down, just waiting on the mechanics to come fix it, so he can't really make many changes. Soon as that's fixed, I'm sure he'll make some changes!

KXRida
08-28-2007, 06:50 PM
Well I won't be there. I ended up ripping 4 teeth off my front sprocket, bending my rear sprocket and teeth to hell and back, twisting my chain, and ripping my chain guide off. Haha and to top it off I cased a 90' tripple and my wrists are killing me, so sadly I won't be there. I'll make it down sometime.

Looking forward to having everyone out for a great weekend. The weather is suppose to be awesome with temps in the low 70's and no rain. Ponds are full so we'll be watering.

The new tractor is working great at discing up the ground. I'll be grooming the tracks each night before the next days ride.

....Sorry No Real Changes on the tracks! Loader is still down, parts are in, Mechanics are still .....?????

Racing on Saturday will be at Night on the KIDS TRACK. We will have classes for both adults and kids on all size PIT BIKES. We will have kids motorcycle and quad classes for Quads up to 300 cc and bikes up to 85cc two stroke and 150cc four stroke. We have great plaques to give out donated by Ernie Bolden of Final Touch Restyling.

Race sign ups will be at 4pm Saturday and Racing will start at 6pm. THERE WILL BE A MUD BOG RACE AT THE INTERMISSION OF THE RACE.

I can't wait to dust off the YFZ and hit the track and catch up with everybody. It's been a long summer and looking forward to some time away from work.

I'll be heading down on Friday. Maybe this time I will beat the Sunco crew. I'll even give em a head start since I'm gonna be leaving from NYC this weekend.

You guys asking about conditions and stuff- just go! You won't be disappointed.

I don't know if you'll beat the sunco crew this time, I know flyboy has been working on a new trick that he's dying to get here and try. Word is he'll be pulling off some cool heel clickers!

I am just having trouble landing...lol. 2007 hasn't been a good year for me. I am hoping 5 days of back-to-back riding will help me along. I need to regain my confidence. I do know one thing for sure. If I get hurt again and need more PT, I will have to hire someone to come to my house in the evenings. My work is getting tired of me coming in 2.5 hours late twice a week.

Pappy has a few shots of me attempting look backs but I don't twist the body enough to pull it off. Your style has improved greatly. Style is the main reason I like to watch Dan ride. We'll see how this weekend goes. Maybe I will teach Amanda to use my camera this week. :D If not, I am just gonna get really good at Photoshop and start making my own pics in the garage against a blue background. lol.

I plan to start out slow. I did ride this past Saturday at NCMP just to gauge my ankle...of course I only told the therapist I was gonna do a little slow trail riding. ;) All seemed to go well...no pain on Saturday or the next several days. I know Dan mentioned he was working on the lips so I am sure this alone will take some adjustment.

Sorry you couldn't make it this weekend. I am definitely shooting for Fall Fest so hopefully everyone can make it that weekend.
