so the burning of oil situation we decided to change the valve seals as the first solution to try to fix this problem. bike has plenty of power and does not smoke when just idling.

called the local honda dealer and they said valve seals were 10 bucks each and the top end gasket kit was 40 bucks? ive been hearing that valve seals are like 5 bucks for all 4? i dont mind spending a little more money on a quality gasket set so if someone can give me a quick run down on on what i need to get this job done? thanks

your head cover gasket is more than likely to be reused but youll want a new head gasket and i just may have one sitting around unused somewere.
