funny incident:
I was trying to make trails in my back yard, for the entrance, i was spinning the tires to make tracks so you know where it is, and when i popped the clutch the third time, the front came up and i couldnt steer, my balls met the handlebars. lmao

I feel like I've played my pics out, but here it is.

Paid full price at a dealer for it (I think around 5k)

Most mods listed below....

Most retarded story -- first real time taking it out, I had just bought new Skat Trak paddles (on the advice from this site), which I promptly installed with the paddles facing in the opposite direction. I rode all day at the dunes cursing the people on this site who told me how much better the bike would perform with the paddles. I couldn't figure out why everyone else was bombing up all the dunes, and I couldn't hardly get it out of the lot......

Ok, if you have ever been to westpoint, tn then u will no what i speak of. we were out there on a cold cold day. I dont think we ever saw anubody else. But anyway we were flying down the main gravel road kinda sliding/drifting around all those long curves. Well I got the happy thumb. I had the 416 pinned in 4th. Well this curve wasnt long enough and to sharp for my speed. My quad start pushing/sliding sideways in the turn. I had no control. In the weeds on the side of the road there is an old piece of farm equipment w/ bushes grown up thru it, around it and practically couldnt see it. I lock up the back brakes and it didnt go the way I wanted it to. I was headed off in the weeds. I hit the piece of equipment head on. My proarmor bumper bent back and was touching my right a-arm. Luckily the +2 stem and tag bars caught me a little above my knees and kept me from flying off.

Kinda long but man after I checked my pants for u no what I turned around and everybody was rollin laughing at me. I still get tense when I ride by it.

Sorry I Do not have any complete pics. I will soon I hope, but some things will be changed. I removed all the lights, put on a different hood (scooped but still zest orange) b/c i got sponsored for racing next year. All I have is a disposable that I have walmart Develop onto a CD.

I forgot to mention the quad I paid 8100, the the time financing was done, I got the extended warranty, and with licensing and all that stuff. And now it has well over 13,000 into it (counting purchase price). And the engine isn't even built to where it will be. As soon as I get new pics I'll post them for you guys.

Wow,"the wall" a fun hill to try. search the open forum for " the wall claims anothe victim". It was in Huevos 4. Vids and pics are nothing. My strategy on hill are if I can roll down them I can go up them. "The Wall" is more like repelling off a clip. We had thought about rolling off it but I was afraid I would do an endo w/o meaning to. Westpoint is very fun. I should have pics and vids posted on Sunday.

HAHA, another funny one happened today. I parked my quad at the top of my driveway. I forgot to put it in gear. My driveway is a hill, with a small cliff off one side. Well, im mowing my lawn, and i look over and my quad aint there anymore. So i go look over the egde and what do ya know, it went down the cliff and hit a tree. I had to Tie a strap to it and pull it out with my dads truck. The front left fender got pushed in. lmao.

well i was doing a wheelie in my drive like in the firts pic. walking it real slow(almost stalled it), and my drive is slightly inclined. the quad went back on the grab bar and i couldnt bring it back down cuz i was going so slow. but instead of just sittin on the grab bar, it kept going back. i was on my back watching it come....lol. so i kicked it off to the side of me.

same thing happened going acrossed the yard, and it ben the steering stem

my quad. also has about 3,500-4,000 into it.

The best story i know is trying to do 180's and rolling back by punching the throttle and whipping it around and then grabbing the clutch and letting it roll back. The one time it grabbed on the turn and flipped over. That was the first time I had ever flipped a quad in my 6 year riding carrer. lol

this is my 04. full price from dealer.

the first riding trip i went on was at Haspin Acres. i was comin down a hill that was like straight down and there was a big water pit at the bottom. well i got to the bottom and went to dump the clutch and hammer it so i wouldn't get stuck and what i failed to realize was there was a little hill about knee high damming the water in. well i dumped the clutch and the front end came to a dead stop, threw me just about over the bars and i hit my chest on the throttle housing twisting the throttle straight up and down and held it open long enough to rev it out. i just about broke my sternum. my chest hurt the rest of the day and for about a week. had a huge bruise. my buddies were like well the motor is broke in now lol.

i made it. i did all the fab work in my garage and did the tig welding part at work.

i just used some 1/4 inch thick flat stock aluminum for the mounting part and i think it was 1 inch tubing for the bars.

it holds up good too. i've got it stuck countless times and yanked on the bumper and it doesn't budge.

Here's my '04 400EX, I payed $4400 CDN. I've put my fair of parts and money in it. I bought it used from the dealer my dad works at, it was women owned before I got it and was rarely used. Well anyways I've had one really crash about 2 weeks ago. I was at a local track and in split second I got a flat left rear tire, and the next thing I knew I got kicked off the qaud, it did about 3 flips. I walked away with a tons cuts and brusies, and short term memory loss. Lucky the damage on the quad was a flat tire, a broken handguard mount, and my 2 of my rims are bent more than they were before. Good thing I had my helmet one!

I have never even seen one hang that low... you could fit a huge rear sprocket on there. that's for sure. I have a Riochet (cant remember how to spell it) skid plate and it doesn't hang near that low and it's 1/4 in. thick.

hey 400ex_rider13. In your quote by Wes Miller, he didn't actually say that. That was just on on of his movies... Huevos 4 to be exact. The dude that said it in the clown hat was defiantely not Wes Miller.

i got them at www.nacsracing.com i think they were like 14 or 15 bucks.

i looked forever to find some that were caps instead of stickers and all the other ones required removing the headlights and i definately was not going that route.

This is one of my friends quads, it's not truely an EX it is a SRX250R. Basically a CR dirt bike motor in a beefed up EX frame, and it hauls. Very fast, the motor has a powervalve and is ported. He had it dyno'd at 64 HP. The price on it though was about $9,200 to buy. Here is a pic of it.

thats a sweet hybrid. It looks like it came from the factory that way. Must fly.
I went riding at freeland today, and the bucking problem is getting worse.
I was goin up this jump, and at the top, there a little hill down, so you get like 4ft of air.
I went and attempted the jump (even though i knew about the bucking) and the rear flies up, i land on the front bumper, and it bounces back on the tires.
Damage:
Broken fender mount
Badly bruised stomache
(my stomache flew into the bars, and my stomache hit it so hard, it bent the throttle up, we had to loosen it to put it back straight.
Bruised ankle.
