Well i just got back from trx250rtrx400ex's house with my new 250r. Havent gotten much seat time on it yet but the power band is an awful lot of fun. it was a heck of a time getting there in a blizzard but it was worth it.

this is a thought, but if u dont MX, and ride for fun, look for a set of stock 89 a-arms, they are 1in forward from the gold ones you hav, and will strech the bike out and make it like an stock 89

hey mysticfalcon was it hard to put the maier hood on your 400 cuz I just order one but its on backorder .I just want to know cuz if its hard im gonna order a quadtech hood

it takes some work but with the price diference its hard to say if its worth it or not. if youve got the $$ id say go for the quad tech hood

congrats on the r man got some nice parts on there.

you might want to think about gusseting the frame so you dont crack it....

preventive maintenece will save you grief with a r.
gusseting make the frame solid

its gonna be gusseted and pcoated this winter. once i can build a big enough oven probly blue with either white or orange plastic
