a "duh" question

how do i put a pic by my name like this

click user cp
then click on edit options
then at the bottom...the very last option is the avatar...that is what that pic is called..
it needs to be a very small picture...you can use a http address if the pic is hosted on a photo hosting site such as villagephotos, or you can upload a small pic from your computer...

if i upload a pic from photobucket will it shrink it to size?

no, you would need to do that at photobucket...there should be that option there at photobucket...i use village photos becuase it is free so i am not too familiar with photobucket
