View Full Version : Wont Crank, Wont Click, No Lights...Nothing

hey guys got an electrical problem my bike wont crank or anything the battery is fully charged and everything i put a screwdriver in between the cylinoid and everything and tried to get it to crank and i dont know whats goin on i think its either my cyylinoid ****tin up on me or a fuse any ideas?:confused: :rolleyes: :D :(

Check for blown fuse.

how old is the battery? id try replacing it..

yep, sounds like the fuse is blown.. you should have a spare one right on the bike.. in the fusebox.

If it blows up again right after you replace it, check for damaged electrical wires or bad celenoid/CDI

Check the easy stuff first. Check the fuse first and then your connections. I doubt it's your starter solenoid because you said you've got no lights either. That brings you back to no voltage coming out of the battery. Either the battery is absolutely dead, the fuse is blown or a connection is loose.

it died while i was riding when i went to turn to do a donut in wet grass.....how do i check for a blown fuse....when i put the screwdriver onm the cylindoid it will turn and turn and turn and turn but never will

mine did that too once-
it ended up being a cracked negative battery cable where it meets the bolt to the frame. i guess it was bouncing around too much?

can you get your quad to start if you push start it? if so its probably a fuse. the fuses are down by the battery, they are just like fuses in a car, you pull em out with needle nose pliers and put a new one (or 2) in.

thier most likely nutin wrong just some loose wires this **** happens to me all the time

Check your fuses, and if they are good, when you try to electic start, listen for a click, if there is one the cylinod is working it makes a little clicking noise.

P.S. My 300 4x4 only kick starts in gear now, I have to take it apart and check the neutral check switch in the gear box... Hope you dont have to go that far...:square

Yea down by the battery you will see a little circular object or sumthing you gotta open it and put a new fuse in it or sumthing.
