Does anyone know where I can get the lowering linkage for the rear to make the back end sit a lot lower, like for flatrack?

Thanks.

And how much does it lower it?

Durablue from Rocky Mtn. Not sure how much it will lower it though.

which rear setup do you currently have on your quad? if running the 88-89, you can get the 86-87 dog bone and it will lower it quite a bit but, if your wanting to ge even lower. you can do as mentioned and get the Durablue for and 86-87 adjustable dog linkage.

Hey thanks, but wouldn't I need the 89 setup cuz they changed swinger lengths in 88 or 89?

I got stock I believe on there now.

And I'm not gonna lower the front, I am buddies with a guy who used to race 250r's all the time back in the day, when I was racin my kx 60, he had a bunch of friends that raced and he told me not to worry about the front, just the back at least for now. So I wanna lower my rear down keep me more stabil, and it looks cooler to imo.

I shouldn't hurt my ground clearence right? cuz its not lowering my swinger down at all so It should be the same.

Thanks.

based on your sig. you have an '89. is that with an OEM '89 swinger with the '89 dog bone? if it is then you can switch the dogbone to an 86-87 and lower it approx. 2.5 inches.

it the part of the rear shock linkage that bolts to the swingarm and to the lower part of the shock. if yours is an 88-89 it will measure around 5 3/4" or so. if its the 86-87 it'll measure about 6.5" (these measurements are from eye to eye)

do they make the adjustable link year specific. meaning, can ya buy one that starts at the 85-87 length and adjusts accordingly or starts at the 88-89 length. see what i mean?

no, 85 and 86 shared the same legnth, and 87-89 shared the same legnth. If you put a 85/86 link on the 87-89 it would lower it, if you put a 87-89 link on a 85/86 it would raise it.

Hey Steve that sounds good. Can I have a picture and wuts the max I can lower from stock, how many inches down will it go?

Can I get a picture.

Thanks dude.

And If that lowers it wouldn't that hang down lower too?

If I put a 86 lowering kit on it would it lower it even more than the 89 would?

Thanks

I'm not sure..I never tried lowering it. I would think you could lower it more with the adjustable one more then an 88-89 would.
Here is a pic of it.
