how often do the valves on a 400ex need 2 be adjusted?

The repair manual states after the first 20 hours then every 100 hours.

My brother said when your valves tick louder than normal they need to be adjusted. I did mine and I have about 9 hours on the 400x after the valve adjustment and there was easily a noticable difference in power, its so much more torquey now.

yea like Joex said ever 100 hours after inital break in,,, i adjust mine every couple of months,


i mean its overkill but id rather be safe (ya suck a valve once and ya learn quick)
