I did some searching, but couldnt quite find what i was looking for, I am just starting to race in harescrambles and XC races, i have done a few MX races, and I would like to know a few other mods I could do to achieve a little more power, In my 2005 R right now I have a full Yoshi TRC exhaust, stage 2 dyno jet, K&N flow kit with K&N top, and dynatech cdi I run in very dusty and watery conditions I also have diffrent gearing For diffrent races and Diffrent sizes of tires, what else could I do rather then cams and pistons, I know those will really wake it up but my father doesnt want me tearing up the motor just yet, since its a year old

it sounds like youve done every mod without digging into the engine,,,

i would recomend working on suspension now... maybe a revalve/ respringing, and maybe a new linkage set-up..

in my Opinion the boyesen accel. pump cover is a complete waste of money...

to be hones i would have your front shocks resprung and revalved and they will be just as good as aftermarket...

but if you going to widen the front end and arent looking to spend a ton i woud go with burgard a-arms and TCS fronts...

What about diffrent cooling mods to keep my power throughout the whole moto

so, if i was to get diffrent pistons, what size should I go with out doing alot of major things, all I want is lil more power So i dont want to bore it or port it, and I dont want troubles trying to start it

well considering the 450 has a radiator and a fan that helps alot...

as far as keeping cool make sure your jetting is right and alot of people use engine-ice antifreeze with a additive called water wetter and it really does help lower engine temps...

I forgot to mention I use engine ice, My jetting seems to be smooth I have a pro circuit Air mixture screw So I think shes in tune

Get a drop in cam, such as the hotcams.

They are SUPER simple to install and you don't have to "dig" into the engine, just take your gas tank off and valve cover (3 bolts) and you'll be looking right at the cam.

Makes a world of difference.

your best bet would be a drop in cam as stated above,, a all around hot cam will make a world of diference, and considering you bike is relativley new theres no need to change the piston yet,

and a cam is a simple job
