Ok does anyone have a video of a stock 400ex and a stock z-400 so we can all see who wins and stop arguing about this topic.

See, the only problem with that is riders...A guy on a blaster could whoop someone on a Raptor if the rider's skill on the Raptor sucked. So a 400ex could beat a Z or vice versa b/c of the rider. Which in a drag the rider skill level is not as much as a factor as for say trails but its still gonna be 75% Rider/25% Bike.

But thats just my opinion. :)

Well...Me and Castor-400ex talked to some guys at Turkey Bay last weekend.

They had a hevily modded 416....sucker had piston, hardened rockers, pipe, jetted, filter, and other motor work.
They also had a Z400. Completely stock except for beadlock Razrs on all 4 corners.

They claimed that the 416 will only pull the Z by a quad length in a drag.

Funny thing is, we were around the general area playin in the mud hole for bout 30 minutes or so and they never left their truck...so whether their claims are true or not, I have no clue.

Just some food for thought. :)

It's usually real close as long as the riders are of equal ability. It's once you start moddin the motor the Z really begins to shine. Someone over at z400central may have a video like this, but if it's over there, it's probably gonna be a Z winnin. Both a good quads imo.

Okay, I will do it!... I will ride on both quads at the same time on foot on the 400ex peg, on on the Z-400! then I will give it all I got! and the one that I fall off of first loses!

P.S. I will keep my right foot on the EX so I can gear it up!:D the Z-400 will lose hard core!

Just have a couple guys race a few times, then switch machines for a few races. (And no, I don't volunteer my Z):D
