My buddy just picked up a completly woods ready 250r and every chassis part is lonestar. Im wanting to build my quad for mx and my buddy is just wanting the quad to ride around and enjoy. Would it be wise for me to trade him frames and swing arms or is there that big of a difference in the stock frames and the lsr ones for mx? Also he has a set of axis shocks on stock width lsr a arms. Can these shocks be fitted to a set of extended a arms?

The Lonestar frame and chassis components will be substantially more durable than stock parts. The stock frame is made of mild steel whereas the i believe the LSR components are made of 4130 which is much stronger.
As to the shocks if you put shocks valved for standard length on plus size they will be much less stiff, due to the extra moment exerted. You'll need to have them re-valved for your weight and the a-arms width.
