my e series is around 95 db new but when the packin wears it is a lil louder where some are around 100db like the t4 or r4 when the packin wears out. or the alien and thats pretty loud.

if ya need a spark arrester, get the pro circuit t-4. it is as loud as u are gonna get for a spark arrested pipe

whats up with people wanting a pipe just to be loud?Think abloy it folks.People that dont ride and allways want to shut down our ride areas usally complain about the noise the most!If your riding by peoples homes in the trails they sure as hel1 dont want to hear you blasting by.Get a pipe for what its supposed to be for.Performance,not how loud can i get.Your probably the same guy that screams through their land by the house and gets the trails closed too.Sorry for flaming but im tired of loosing places to ride cause of a few idiots.And these type post always just piss me off!

Get a Big gun race series. It also comes with a spark arrestor and is louder than a T-4, but not by much. Also adds good power throughout the rev range

believe me the main reason i want a pipe for is to increase my perfomance. but i also reaaly love a loude deep quad.. i think ive narowed it down to t4, e series, and r4.

The DMC is way louder than the e-series and it does not perform any better.

i would say the e-series is pretty loud, not anoying loud but i absolutely love the loud but kind of muffled deep sound it puts out, i rode a guys 400 that had every aftermarket part he could find in any catalog anywere and i couldn't get over that deep muffled sound the e-series produced when you hit the throttle, i would really recommend the "e" from white bros, but i guess t-4 is about at the same performance, maybe a little under on the peak power, but i know for a 400ex curtis sparks is the highest peak horsepower setup according to a article i read somewere that tested 20 diff aftermarket pipes, the e-series was right behind it by .2 hp so i would say go with the e

Seriously, I love my Alien. Yes, sometimes it does seem a little too loud for my taste, but i a VEY happy with the gains it gave me. It also has KILLER looks!

Well i would go with a Curtis Sparks Pipe. Either one is fine. If you want loud they are the one to get. And they will also out perform anything cept maybe a Tc. Tc or Curtis Sparks is the only way to go.

I have raced behind a T4..yeah it sucked, but I could hear his pipe over all others...especially when he missed a shift. I wish they all raced the T4, that way you can hear when their "on or off" there game.

the t-4 is pretty loud. lately my mom and a few neighbors have been complaining about the sound it puts out......anybody know the db level for the 250ex T-4?i think i have either 2-inch or 1.75 inch tip and the crap co- i mean, "quiet core" lol............

Texan your a great guy but my old buddy did have an Alien and it was tuned just fine ( I did it my self) and he could not take me it was dead heats every time. I will give you the fact that you are a better rider with more time on a quad but mine will fly. For the record I did say I don't like it I just said I saw no performance difference, in fact now that I am looking for a full system it's on the list.:D

If it's over 25 I ride no mater who goes with but I see 25 hasn't even been on the high side for awhile. Actually mw and my buddy did all the exact same things to our 400s except he went with the DMC and I had the E-SERIES slip on and ground out my welds on the stock header everything else was the same even the key. An if there is anything I pay the most attention to it's that carb believe me I can make my 400 run. It's pretty hard to get killed playing pool and drinking beer I think :D . Yeah you have to love the taxes after these little trips.
