training day

Today was the last day before Round 7 of the WORCS series gets geared up in approx. two weeks for any last minute training.
We took advantage of a much needed cooler weather today to rdie our home track -Caly Peak Mx Park,which has to be one of the roughest times there I have seen !!
It was so dry, dusty,jumps were in bad shape ,just plain KNARLY...

I didint even waste my time on some of the photos due to all the dust, but everyone had a great day of riding ,training ,tire experiementing,gearing and shaved some lap times .
Kelsey done some sweet holeshots today and finally got the feel of the gearing .

MY Lil man Brandon was AWESOME today and rode HARd and fast!
The MX section was in really bad shape today and still managed to keep up with his Dad on his quad in the top of 3rd gear on his 450!
Kelsey and him were in 4th (hers in 5th gear)

Today was a day that you thanked yourself for all that you invested in good suspention.

WEll.. We will see how things go.. She blew up the motor the last race,he blew two motors two races before that so who knows what may blow the next one :p... we might be saying we quit after the next round .. :p LOL
We have been spending the last two months trying to build two more motors(one for each of them,one is still completly stock) so we will have someting to fall back on.
We just play it week by week.

I think the only down side to the wk ends riding was we found a million of them thorns (aka goat heads and punture weeds) stuck in all the tires and Im not sure how to remove them from the tires except by hand !:huh :scary:
Those are the last things I want making there way to my yard.
Any ideas? This could take awhile .lol

We did. Im hoping the wk end will make a difference in lap times at the next race.

Im not real sure.. I knowhis motor was shot though. :(
He just got a new one from some guy back East(I thought he said Florida maybe?)
Hes got a few kinks to still work out, but man.... I could tell it was FAST!:blah:

this was the 1st trip I can remember where I actually left my 4's at home!:eek:
I didnt feel too well so I opted to just shoot photos and watch everyone else ride.
