Are they worth the money?

Some say yes, some say no.

For me, yes. Helped reduce arm pump and upper body problems after a severe (and I mean SEVERE) mountain bike crash!

I'd get them again.

You could always buy 'em and try 'em. If you don't like them, sell them. Used Flexx bars sell for almost as much as new ones, they really seem to hold their value.

After riding with them, I wouldn't ride without them!

Im gonna be racing in the Mid South Winter Series. Im just trying to get the best ride possible. I have my elka triple rates ordered. I ran the race @ Westmoreland last weekend and stock 450r shocks beat me 2 death.

I have the same question as well, are they worth the 300 dollars? I got thumb pump at my last race, I wonder if it was a cramp because its the first time it has happened to me. Would the flexx bars take that problem away or what? I run a stabilizer and aftermarket suspension also.

If you are going to race the Midsouths then you will want a set. The Midsouth races are mostly very tight wood sections which get rutted out extremely bad. The Flexx Bars will help soak up all the small hits and make those Elkas seem awesome. Good Luck at the races. What class are you running?

I run 21-24 C maybe I will see you there.

25-29 C

This is my 400. My Brother in law rides the same class and he has a 450r w/ red frame and black wheels

I've never read of anyone with bad coments about flexx bars. I raced on a quad with flexx bars once and they are bad a**. I will be buying a set pretty soon. I think they are like a stabilizer, once you ride with them you will want to ride without them.

Thats a sweet 400ex. You will love the Flexx Bars if you get them. Where do you ride? I live in Murfreesboro. Maybe we can get together and ride sometime.

We are going to Westpoint on Saturday.

They are very nice, but I don't feel they're worth the price. If you can get a used set for around $150-$200 I feel they're worth it. Otherwise, no. I'd spend my money else where. I like mine alot, but would never have paid the $270-$300 price tag for them.

I dont think I will have my quad put back together by then. My shocks just got sent to me from Laz at GT Thunder and I dont know when I will get them back. Have you ever been to Turkey Bay/LBL in KY? I want to go to Westpoint but I dont know the trails around there. Thought they were mostly dirtbike trails?

I'm the exact opposite. I would be willing to pay upwards of $400, they are that much better than regular bars.

I put a set on my atc250r, when I rode without them landings from jumps hit kinda hard and I felt every sinlge bump. After I put them on, it was so much of an easier ride and took the jar out of bumps/hard jumps. I would buy a set to put on my quads, but like others have said, its hard to spend $300 on a set of bars.
