What is everyoen running for gearing while racing MX?(18 Tires only)
i ride very tight tracks so either stock or 14-38

same here, on a short track or indoor 14-38, longer outdoor with some speed 15-38, that's on a 440ex

15-36 or 14-36 depending on the track

16-38 or 15-36 they are the same. You want to stay as close to stock gearing as possible. You should be able to come out of the gate in 2nd.

i was runnin 15/37, but i need something different. right now, i come out of the gate in 2nd and by the time im on top of the gate i have to shift to 3rd. my friend races a r, i dont know his gearin, but he comes out of the gate in 3rd. so im thinkin either, 15/36, 16/37, or 16/36. i now have all the sprockets i need so now im gonna just go out and play around till i figure what is best for what type of track.
