im assuming that the biggest cam i can use with a stock 400ex motor would be hotcams stage one?

well if you plan on getting a pipe and doing some work to it you might as well get a stage two now instead of later itll run fine you just wont see its full potential till you throw some more parts at it but you will notice a big differance
