wow, i just put a set of steel braded brake lines on the quad...and it stop so well now. the lever feel is much more consistent and very responsive, and the front tires will lock up without me needed to think about it. i no longer need to pull the lever all the way in to the grip to get the best braking from the quad. 2 fingers is all it takes. great mod.

how much did you pay for the lines? and where did you get em from? did this replace the two lines at the split and the top line?

braided brake lines go from the master cylinder all the way to the calipers

and tusk lines are good they are the actualy galfer lines!

i bought moose lines. they were $116, and they came with everything

Got me some tuskes on the way! Im gonna put em on and try to throw myself over the bars this weekend! haha. I'll let ya'll know how it turns out.
Btw what brake fluid do we use? dot 4.. right??

Yes, DOT 4. Do NOT use DOT 5.

There are two different styles too. A style like he is running with one line going down and splitting at the frame into two separate lines, and there are also kits that use two separate lines the entire way down.
