When I install these, do I need anything else for the install? Like any brackets on the bike or anything? I checked www.bikebandit.com and I saw that they have some brackets for the pegs which I cannot find anywhere.

Ok, I noticed that the pro peg nerfs bolt on differently for the different years. Since the pegs are built on to these nerf bars, do I need to use stock pegs? Or does the pro pegs have the mounts on them already. Any help is greatly appreciated

The difference in peg mounting is how it mounts to the frame. The '86-'87's have 2 bolts that mount the peg to t he frame (like the 400EX & 450R). The '88-'89 uses 1 bolt that goes down through and the peg slides onto a tab on the frame, so that is the difference on the pro-pegs between the years.
You don't need stock pegs at all. The nerfs will come with the necessary peg replacements.

I actually like the '86-'87 mounting style better, it is more sturdy when using pro pegs.

When you order, just specify the year, it will come with all you need.

beware that some of the 88/89 pro-peg nerfs keep the pegs in stock location and others move them 1" back and 1" lower. I have both, I like the relocated pegs alot more. I have AC blackline pro-pegs on mine and the other ones(I think were older AC's), got mounted on my atc250r(it uses 450r peg mounts). The front mounts for 86, 87, and 88/89 pro-pegs differ too.
