I just got my engine put back in my quad not to long ago. I didn't mess with any of the adjusments on the clutch cable I just put em back how it was. Its worse when i try to put it in reverse it will just take off and keep going with the clutch pulled in untill I make it stop and rev it up a bit. I don't notice it as much when its at running temp. It kinna does it in 1st when I first put it in gear, but not as bad when warmed up. The clutch doesn't slip at all either. You think I may need a new reverse cable or do some adjusting or is it a clutch problem. Its fairly new too.

yea i would start by replacing the reverse cable.....

to be honest i would just do the old reverse mod and be done with the cable...

p.s. how do you like those 450 shocks?

Man I like em alot. The ride is better and landings are way softer. I didn't think I would like them because of the angle they are mounted at, but it doesn't mess with how they perform. I'm not a double or triple hitting mx'er so it doesn't matter. I'm just a weekend warrior at rec riding areas.
