Chain may be a little to loose. Especially if an adult is testing .

Chain tensioner....

If it was the tranny their would be bigger issues...

Since it is from a dead stop it is the chain slipping..

The chain tensioners are not the best...

I am looking to source a better option....

I hear the universal tensioner from James lucky atv is good, but I am not sure if it fits on the stock swingarms

Going to give it a try next week

Keep you all posted

x2 for me also. Last night was our third race with the DRX and the chain came off. We got it fixed for the Main, but the tensioner looks like junk and I had to remove the chain guards too as they appeared to be rubbing. I would assume the aftermarket tensioners from the other makes would work. They all look the same from what I can tell. I'll keep posted to see what happens.

We are running a tensioner from K- Fab.

Just to let you guys know we race (xc) not motocross like a lot of you guys.

This tensioner is designed for motocross.

ours has worked flawless in the 2 races since installed.

We have raced about fourteen races with the stock chain and tensioner and haven t had any problems. We are racing Moto X and have had a ton of practice and ride time without any problems. I think alot of it is proper chain maintenance and keeping your chain tight enough.
