Rev Problem??

Ok i just got done rebuilding my '04 trx450r. new crank jug piston and everthing bc i through a rod bearing..i finally got it all done and it starts and idles fine. If i try to rev it though it just dies and im not sure what the problem is.

Sounds like a big air leak, or the accelerator pump might be clogged. Pull the air box boot off the rear of the carb & hit the throlle with the engine off. See If your gettin a squirt of gas when the throttle Is pushed. Make sure the carb boots are tight also. Next see If the main jet Is plugged, take the 17mm plug out of the bottom of the carb & check for dirt.
