what pipe do you have on your outlaw 500 or 525

I have a 500 outlaw and i am looking at pipes. Does anybody have any recomendations? I really didn't want to spend more then about 300 or 350. I was looking at this one it adds 12 horsepower ! (the link is at the bottom) How much horsepower does a normal pipe add on these machines? I know i had a 300ex (whell i still do but it is for sale) and the full system e seires pipe added 6. for that money try Muzzy or HMF you will only gain 2 or 3 hp at most saying there pipe adds 12 is B.S. the link no longer works.

Here is the correct one. Thanks for the heads up though outlaw bill. I think the 12 horsepower might be with the jets it comes with.

The 12 Hp gain is BS HMF say only 3 or 4 at best with there pipe on the 500

Thanks that is what i thought to that is why i posted it here. I guess it is a good thing i didn't bid on it. Maybe my e series pipe wasn't 6 then. Thanks again outlawbill i am going to have to look into the muzzys i have never of them.

I've got a question. with the muzzy pipe have you evre wheelied to far back and hit the grab bar? Did it bend your pipe? Mine did.
( it seams to be to long)

I made sure that I put on the PRM grab bar which sticks out further than the stock grab bar. It also help protect the pipe from the tail light coming down and denting the pipe. When I first got my pipe I ended up flipping the quad and denting the pipe, that was before the PRM grab bar.

Yea i put a rath grab bar. Looks I'll buy the PRM. I should be able to buy the slip on to replace it.( i bought the full exhaust pipe/header 1st. ) with it giving the same preformance.

The one that I put on was the PRM Baja grab bar. Either it or the desert bar should give you the protection needed.
