can I use a set for stock a-arms and then use the same set when I get long travel a-arms this winter

You must have misunderstood them. Regular travel shocks for the stock a arms are 17 inches long. Long travel shocks are 19.25. Therefor different lengths. Good luck!

The LTR450 shox you can actaully use on standard travel Aarms and long travel Aarms, you just add more air to the main chamber, when u get them there will be a sheet that explains to you how much for both, hope u enjoy them!

I guess with the way the shock is designed they can do that. I know you can't on a Coil type shock....SWEET.....I might actually get some this fall then if that is the case! That would be sweet if I can use the same shocks for stock arms and the switch to Walsh or ATV4play arms later! I'm really going to look into this now!

It might be the correct height after blowing up the main air chamber but still wouldnt be a long travel shock. I have the 19 inch shock on my predator and the 17 on my ltr. The 19 inch shock rides much softer. If you did get the 17 and used it with lt a arms it would not ride half as good as a true long travel shock.
