I'm looking to get a new 450 and they're qouting me great prices but setup fee is killer...its like $800-1000. is that way too much? anyone know what they paid?

im not from sussex but im trying to avoid jersey dealers..they charge like 7% more on a purchase since its in state.

so far ive found 07 450r or 07 yfz450 at 8.9% for 2 years for $4599. the kfx450r (08) would be 8.9% for 2 years for $5299

but those prices dont include the set up charge, which is what theyre saying is going to be like $800...which i believe is high and i want to figure out what it is for other people. when my dad bought our vehicles new he paid cash so they didnt charge setup fees and tax...

When I bought my 06 ktm 450exc, there was a $100 setup fee, my 01 xr250r didn't have one. He is pulling your chain badly. If you want a honda go to freehold honda on Rt. 9 north and give me a pm for whom you want to talk to(I don't want to post it here for everybody to see).

Oh true, i thought you were from around there. Those are really good prices. I got my 06 from Sussex Yamaha for $7500.

yea but its $4599...+ $800. so thats $5400. still not bad AT ALL...but yea.


and theyre not pulling my chain, thats the gimmic they have, a low price to ad. but a high price for taxes and stuff...

well question, could you called and say "my friend is looking to get a 450r and has cash ready, what kind of price is he looking at" and PM me and let me know rougly what im looking at with them? ill take a left over. that way it will save me and you from 2 phone calls. what do you think? otherwise ill just call and see whats up.
