pros&cons of MX racing

just like the xc thread but with mx...give me the good and the bad of MX racing...nothing to serious though(not trying to go pro)

The amount of time you spend at the track vs. the amount of time you are actually on the track is one con.

Racing or riding MX is only as expensive and dangerous as you make it.

Pro - The first time you go really big and realize it's not all that bad.

Con- Cleaning your shorts out after the first time you go really big.

Pros: Fun, you only have to go as big as you want to, everyone is one big family (from my experience), once you get faster it gets more fun, Throwin Roost:devil:


Cons: Expensive, hard on your body, more crashes than XC(not always true but ive seen more people crash on a mx track than xc)

to sum it up pretty much, MX is just the chit :p

pros: fun, exciting, great battles, family oriented, always WFO

cons: money, time, hard training, alot of practice, hard on body, dangerous if your in C class:p :p :p

pros-not as pointless as mud digging, theres a goal that doesnt include packing every crevise of your bike with mud. its fun as hell and make you push yourself

cons-there are no cons

pros- mx is teh sex.
cons- it hurts when your quad lands on your head:(

the pros far outway the cons....its exciting, its a good family sport, the people you meet are great, jumping is a ton of fun...yeah its expensive and it can take up a lot of time, but its worth it

but mx just rocks, its hard to get used to but once u know what your quad and you can do its SOOOOOOOOOOOOO much fun specialy when u pass those kids that are always talk **** to u haha:D
