I dont know about you guys but it seems to me alot of people dont realize they have pm's i mean i click on user cp litterly at least once every 5 minutes to check if i have posts in my suscribed threads and in threads i have posted it in so the user cp really helps me navigate the site so i would automaticly notice if i had PM's but the people that don't only have the little green dot at the very bottom to look for i mean i just don't understand if you don't use the user cp like i do why not at least check it once a day or every time u get on the site or sign in or what ever you do to go on Atvriders

Because people have lives outside of Exriders. I come on here and rarely ever check my PM. Checking my messages are the last thing on my mind.;)

Usually a pop-up would appear if I had new messages. Now with FireFox it doesn't happen.

there is a few nifty little featues like email notification and message alert on exriders that takes away the need to check the control panel every 5 minutes, you must be pretty popular to get that many messages:eek:

also, tracking of threads is kind of pointless as well when u can just as easily search your own threads by clicking on your name at the top of the forum your looking at, then you dont get all the pesky emails and messages popping up.

when you are at the main page of the forum, in the bottom there is a list of everybody that is on-line, and also a check if you have pm. that is the easy way to see if you have a pm

There's been issues with that for awhile:( I don't know the details but some mail servers aren't working with this site anymore. Gmail works for me though:)

Doesn't Yahoo give you an option of adding the sender too your 'non spam' list?
