was going to upgrade to 450r, but still owe to much to trade in right now. I want more power, so i was looking at the 416 and 440 kits. They say both r about the same in power, except 440 has more grunt up hill but top end the same. Is that right? and any one running either or , or have rode both let me no thanks i destoried my ankle in a wreck so i need surgury so i have plenty of time to rebuild and is there any other mods that would go good with the kits i trail riding, woods, hill climbs, and play in the mud so top end ant all that importent

for what your using it for i think a well built 416 will give you all the power you want..

after you get the kit,,, i would go with a stage 2 hot cam and a 450carb,, and maybe drop a tooth on the front sprocket and you should have all the bottom end you would want...

I will have to say a 416 is a great choice for what your gunning for. They rev quick, have a great spread of power and won't drain your money as much as a 440. I've seen a well built 416 beat a 440 in accelleration witch is + for jumping and being in the woods.

I just finished my 426ex and its amazing the power is their from the bottom and mid and will carry you to top with out any probelm. The power is just awesome the low end is ridiculously torquey and i cant wait to break it all the way in so i can ride her hard and she its full potential.Oh yeah i forgot to mention that the carb isn't spot on adjusted and I'm running a gas oil mixture so if she pulls like this now what will it do when the carb is on and were running pure 93 pump gas? PURE ANIMAL....LOL
