Agreed. But the Volt trick is only the 2nd of its kind, and actually was pretty amazing.

he was there, he announced all the riders, but he wasnt in the competition. He is only doing Rally Cars and FMX.

When i saw jake brown hit the ground, and his shoes came off, i got a little sick, i could of swore he was dead. Im so happy that he got up on his own and was laughing and everything, hes crazy. And i was hoping Murray would of stuck it, but oh well, im glad to see him not hurt. I was more worried about his bike nailing him then his crash:p Deff a good show tonight!

How Jake Brown is still alive is amazing. The quarter pipe alone was like 30-40 ft, and he was like 15 ft in the air. so that's like a 45-55 foot drop to the flat. I honestly thought he was dead.

And I'm pretty sure that wasnt the best trick finals? Or I hope it wasnt.

As for Scott Murray the annoucers didn't even notice but his foot came off his foot peg middle of the way through the first flip, all his weight was on that side and it made him land like he did. He most likely could of pulled it off if that didnt happen, as he was coming for the landing his foot just kept getting further away from the bike. Hell gotta give the kid credit though, one day ramping in his backyard to the xgames.. Now thats a pressure cooker :devil:

I thought it was a good first day for the X-Games. That Jake Brown fall was insane, thank God he was able to walk away from it.

I too was pulling for Scott Murray, too bad he didn't stick it. I think that spinning tire would've torn him up more than the fall did.

Also, it seemes like they maybe scored Kyle Loza too high for that Volt, but it was actually a pretty cool trick. I think he shoulda gone big on his 2nd run also, but I guess he just wanted to play it safe.

all of the tricks are SUPER hard...no doubt about that. but yeah i thought it was a little less intense this year as well. i guess because it was mostly all tricks we've seen before. its awesome to watch but i was a little disapointed that no one came up with anything different for best trick. some of the riders were doing basically the same exact tricks as each other with a tiny variation between them. in my opinion best trick should be filled with people like murray. more people driving themselves there with basically just enough money to pay for the trip, and going there with less than top notch parts. hes proving people can still go big and try the big stuff without full sponsorships and the fancy bikes. i think hes the only one that really stepped up this year and went big. i still love to watch x games though and will definatly be tuning in for the rest of it

I have a lot of respect for Scott Murray. He has never been in a freestyle show. He shows up at x games n hucks a double backflip. At least he got his name out.
