I'm starting to think I should get my quads insured. Who has it? How much does it cost you? Who's your provider? I'm just looking to see what everybody's opinion is on there insurance plan/ company. Good one's, bad one's, all stories are accepted. Thanks in advance!!!

Now, one of my buddies tried to get insurance on his 04 450R. I think he was quoted at around 900 per year!! I almost crapped myself. Thats more than his mustang thats all modified. Do you guys just have ATV insurance, or do you guys have it under your homeowners insurance? My quads are an 05 450R with full exhaust, stering stem and clamps, handlebars. The other is a beefed out 89 250R with the frame and radiator being the only stock items, besides a few bolts. I think I'm looking to sell it soon due to bills, if you guys know anyone that is intrested. Prolly looking to get around $2500 to $3000. Thanks

It depends on the state you live in if it is covered under your home or not. In Indiana you need to have it on your quad as it will only be covered under your home if you use it for up keep to your property.

I pay $175 in Pa for full coverage on an 06' 400EX and an 06' Kodiak. Through GEICO.

I did the same as N300exJ & I had Foremost Insurance @ one time for my kids quads. I live in NJ but have PA tags. Some won't insure your stuff if its tagged in one state & garaged in another.

Advice - get insurance & registration - if you are somewhere that you shouldn't be & get caught , at least they can't hammer on you as bad as they could. & it shows that you have good intentions.

I'm sure we've all been somewhere thats offended someone. :huh

I have both registered, just not insured. I can take pics, but I'll have to have my girlfriend load them up on the computer. I'm not very good at that stuff. And the mustang insurance isn't full coverage. I forget what it is, but it's been torn apart for awhile in his shop being worked on.
