View Full Version : dasa exhaust with quiet core

does anyone know how loud a dasa pipe is with the quiet core i need to meet 98 decibals for ice racing this year. if it aint quiet enough i can get the rossier with the supertrapp end cap i know thats quiet enough with new packing. i realy want to get the dasa pipe but dont think its gonna be quiet enough.

According to WPP:


"This insert reduces the db sound level to :

Idle - with insert 84dbs without 87dbs
3750 - with insert 95dbs without 101dbs
4750 - with insert 99dbs without 104dbs

The end cap must be modified. A hole must be drilled in line from the bottom of the end cap to line up with the insert threads.

The necessary modification will be included in the price, as long as the end cap is sent

thanks chad, idk maybe ill end up gettin the rossier. its at 99 wich is the loudest they will let u by,but at a 100 they give you one chance to fix it then u get a penalty for it.

The last DASA pipe I sold a couple weeks ago had the hole already drilled.
